when the staff are more fun than your friends... Food is typical pub fare; generous helping for a good price. they have good drink special especially on thurs and sundays. the atmosphere really depends on the night: I've been there during the week when it was really mellow, and then the weekends get crazy busy! I visited last night for the first time for a friends birthday party I have to say the atmosphere was very nice the food was good the only downfall being a disabled person is with the washrooms be in downstairs. My girlfriend and I went up to tobermory ontario a few weeks ago. I have never had such amazing customer service in my entire life. Our server was super kind, funny and made lots of jokes to keep us entertained through our meal. The food was fast to arrive, fresh, and tasted delicious the light the entire dish, I highly recommend eating here on any visit to tobermory, and I hope you get the same server as us his name was James :) Lire plus

I love this spot, for some good drinks and a chat whether I'm on my own or with friends. One of my favourite things about this spot is that they have a variety of foods of different nationalities which is rare to see! I've been loving the new management as well and the changes they've made from the renovations to the changes in the menu. As a vegetarian I appreciate having multiple options to choose from and my favourite at Wylie's is Green Mango Tofu and Olive oil based vege pasta. Lire plus

I understand that new owners took over in 2009. They kept the cosy atmosphere and all the great Scotch, and they made the food a lot better. The place looks more spiffy now, too. The pub crowd that gathers there is very friendly, and the staff is very personable and attentive. My friends and I plan to go back -- often! Lire plus
