We were heading to Lindsay last night for the Haunted House and wanted to go out for dinner first. Looked online and found the Olympia. Decided to give it a try. We were very impressed! The food was excellent, portion sizing perfect and the service was great! We would definitely go back there if in the area again. Only drawback was we were seated by the front door and it was chilly whenever the door opened and closed. So it would have been nicer to seat in a booth but the place was very busy when we arrived. Had an amazing meal with my boyfriend at Duncan's last week! Normally don't have overly noteworthy service, but the young gentleman serving us that day was quick, entertaining and extremely sweet. We'll definitely be back in hopes of having him as our server again!! We come there for lunch often because the food is of the best in Collingwood! What a treat we had in Port Perry after a couple of hours out on the water. The main dining room was full so we were shown a table in a private room which we had all to ourselves. Both the service and the food was excellent. The owner, Christie, was friendly and down to earth making us feel very welcome. A couple of us had food restrictions which were easily accommodated. Pretty good!Frequent visitors. My fav is the cucumber cream cheese sandwiches, and the chicken breast. Not much a fan of their coffee, tea is great. Very very child friendly and accomodating. When we have guests we always go there for lunch as there is something platable for everyone and sweet desserts. Wonderful small business. The staff is sweet as their pies.
